Abstract
We use a recently proposed formalism that relates thermodynamic properties and viscosity to investigate the role of energetics and size effects on Cu-Bi and Bi-Zn liquid alloys. Our calculations indicate that the model works quite well for Cu-Bi, while the results for Bi-Zn are not of similar quality. Furthermore, we show that size effects are more significant for Bi-Zn liquid alloys.
