N2 - This study aimed to determine the teacher leadership competency level among Omani Schools as perceived by teachers, and surveyed a convenience sample of 376 teachers. In order to encompass a framework for leadership, the California Leadership Competency Model survey was utilized for this study. Results of study showed that eight dimensions were at a high level; Analytical Thinking, Change Leadership, Decision Making, Flexibility, Influencing Others, Planning and Organizing, Thoroughness, and Vision and Strategic Thinking. Eight dimensions were at a medium level; Conflict Management, Developing Others, Forward Thinking, Global Perspective, Interpersonal Skills, Organizational Awareness, Relationship Building, and Team Leadership. No significant differences in the teachers perceived the sixteen dimensions of teacher leadership competency levels as related to their gender, academic qualification, and teaching experience.
