Abstract

Addressing the urgent issue of climate change is of utmost importance. The consequences of climate change, such as rising temperatures, water scarcity, and extreme weather events, are already being experienced in countries. This chapter examines the measures being implemented in these nations to decrease carbon emissions and shift towards clean energy to combat climate change.
The Co-integrated Structural Autoregressive Distributed Lag (CS-ARDL) model is proposed in this research to study the dynamics of climate change, decarbonization initiatives, and the energy transition in Arab countries. The goal of this study is to provide fresh insight into the connection between carbon emissions, economic expansion, and governmental initiatives in the Arab region.
