Abstract
The digital archiving of land data in Tunisia faces several challenges. It must
be used to manage the volume and complexity of land data while respecting the
requirements of sustainability, integrity and traceability. The traceability of land data is considered today as an essential element to ensure the control of land transactions, and therefore guarantee the justification of real rights and the general security of the land register. Our research, based on semi-structured interviews within the national office of land ownership, aims to reveal the reality of the archiving of land data in Tunisia and to raise the issues and challenges, in order to put in place a reliable and integrated digital traceability solution inspired by blockchain technology which ensures traceability and transparency in near real time.
