Abstract
The equation of state of binary fluids based on a statistical mechanical perturbation scheme is formulated to investigate the impact of the non-additivity of the potential, energy mismatch and size factor of the component species. The hard sphere diameters of the reference system are made temperature dependent. The isothermal and the isobaric curves calculated for segregating, ordered and ideal fluid mixtures are compared with each other.
