Abstract

Presents wind speed and direction data measured over the period 1957- 1985. Various trends were identified and the overall findings are discussed here. This data and the trends are important as they are directly associated with dust and sand storms and mobile sand phenomena, which cause problems in Kuwait during the summer months.
