Abstract

The various parameters that affect the synthesis of dual-shaped offset reflector antennas are investigated. In addition, a design procedure for selecting appropriate values for the antenna parameters is proposed. This basically consists of assigning one parameter as a reference and then obtaining values for the remaining parameters. The set of parameters that is obtained specifies the optimum values for synthesizing the required dual-shaped offset reflector antenna.
