تتطلب السياحة وجود مقوِّمات للمكان تتمثل في الموروث المادي، والطبيعة الجميلة، والخِدْمات المُسهِّلة لوصول السائح وترويحه، ثم يأتي دور الأديب في التعبير عن كل هذه الأمور بأسلوب يُحفِّز السائح إلى قَصْدِ المكان، فيكون أدبُه سياحيًّا، وربما لا يكون الكاتب قاصدًا للترويج السياحي -كما هو شأن أدب الرحلات- لكن روعة وصفه للمكان تُشجِّع السائح من حيث لا يدري الأديب على زيارة المكان، وقد رأينا تجليات هذا الأدب في رحلات "شذى الأمكنة" لمحمد بن سيف الرحبي، وقسّمنا ما ورد فيها إلى مقوِّمات موجودة في المكان، ومُحفِّزات لغوية من أساليب وصيغ ونحوها تَدْفَع القارئ إلى الإعجاب بالمكان وزيارته.
Tourism requires the presence of the elements of the place represented in the material heritage, beautiful nature, and services that facilitate the arrival and recreation of the tourist, then the role of the writer comes in expressing all these things in a manner that motivates the tourist to the destination of the place, so his literature is a tourist, and the writer may not be intending to promote tourism - as it is The case of travel literature - but the splendor of its description of the place encourages the tourist as the writer does not know to visit the place. And towards it pay the reader to admire the place and visit it. We have seen the manifestations of this literature in the travels of “Shatha Al-Amkinah” by Muhammad bin Saif Al-Rahbi, and we have divided what was mentioned in it into elements present in the place, and linguistic motivators of methods, formulas and the like that drive the reader to admire the place and visit it.
