Description

This research project deals with the reasons behind the sharp difference between the Rustaq and the Nizwa schools of thought and its impact on the political trends in the early history of Oman, after which the country underwent an external invasion. The beginning was political; When Imam Salt bin Malik al-Kharousi (T.: 275 AH) was isolated due to the departure of Musa bin Musa and the appointment of Imam Rashid bin al-Nazar, the conflict then moved to the poles of the people of the solution and the contract, and the principle of guardianship and innocence was used as a criterion in determining political orientations and the denial of participation in its process, in addition To use it as a criterion in doctrinal classification, then it expanded to work retrospectively judging all previous events, starting from the period of sedition between the Companions and the subsequent political events.. Imam Abu Saeed Al-Kadmi tried to limit the use of this principle and to detail its degrees and ways of using it, and the common mistakes made by students of knowledge in its use of classification and exclusion. The imam presented this renewed vision in his book Al-Istiqama
