Project Details
Description
The research project aims to analyze the teaching practices of educators in the educational field in light of certain institutional accreditation standards (CAPE) adopted by the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University in accrediting its programs - a comparative study - periods preceding, during, and after the pandemic. The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, collecting quantitative data through key tools (classroom observation, candidate application of technology and digital learning, teaching diversity) from the College's affiliates in the field-training course in the period from 2018 to 2023 (pre-service). Qualitative data will be gathered through focus group discussions with current teachers - in-service - to understand their actual teaching practices, their alignment with the outputs of the College of Education's preparation programs, and their implementation in the educational field.
