Project Details

Description

This research sheds light on the rights that a foreign worker must enjoy in the Sultanate of Oman after joining the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. On the one hand, there are many existing legislation and decisions that affect the rights of foreign workers in the Sultanate that need to be evaluated in light of the international obligations imposed by the International Covenant. On the other hand, the Sultanate is required under the International Covenant to adopt several measures related to the rights of the foreign worker, whether they are economic rights, social rights or cultural rights.
