specialized workshops on FOSS

An agreement between SQU and ITA was signed on 26/11/2013 to provide specialized workshops and certified trainings on FOSS to ITA. As per the terms of the agreement, the workshops are to be conducted by the Communication and Information Center (CIRC) on behalf of Sultan Qaboos University. This was established based on a previous agreement with the Linux Professional Institute (LPI), SQU and ITA, to train public sector empowers, SQU faculty and staff on Linux and Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) by providing specialized short courses and hands-on workshops. This consultancy is part the implementation process of the above agreement.
