Project Details
Description
The goal of this project is to electrochemically use nanocomposite materials for both electrodes
and electrolyte and to characterize their physicochemical properties for the development of a
supercapacitor with high power capabilities. Although the electrodes could be fabricated by a
variety of competing processes, in this project, pulse electrodeposition is chosen because of its
several advantages. The following are the intended outcomes:
develop electrodes using nanocomposite materials and test its properties
choose appropriate electrolyte and separators and build a prototype of the supercapacitor.
evaluate the performance of the developed supercapacitor.
