Mathematical modelling in predator-prey interactions under the influence of fear factor and symbiotic relationship

Project: Internal Grants (IG)

Project Details

Description

Mathematical models in predator-prey interactions only with predational effect is studied well, but recent experimental observations predict that fear of predator, the reproduction of prey reduce drastically and of great impact on the dynamics even more than the direct killing effect. The other factor disease on one of the symbiotic species also have an important contribution towards predator-prey interaction. In the present project we like to investigate these two important factors on predator-prey systems using mathematical models. The main objective is to explore the possible control strategies to save and to restore the population from the endangered state.
