Investigation of local and non-local problems for mixed type equations

In this project we aim to formulate and study new class of problems for mixed type partial differential equations and justify unique solvability of these problems based on regularity properties of solutions and related spectral problems. Precisely, the unique solvability of Bitsadze-Samarskii type problems for mixed type equations will be considered in domains with deviation from characteristics of the considered equation. We also planning to investigate generalized solutions and spectral properties of formulated problems.
