Description
The Middle East and the Persian Gulf region go through their worst security crisis since the end of WWII. The Gulf countries (GCC 6 + Iran and Iraq) are directly or indirectly actively involved in four major interstate and intrastate armed conflicts. The very high level of tension between the states bordering the Gulf endangers the safety of the eight states and the international community by extension. A Practical and sustainable way to end the confrontational logic is the introduction of a new security architecture with the participation of eight countries.
