Environmental Awareness of Post Basic Cycle Students in the Sultanate of Oman

The study aims to determine the level of environmental awareness of post basic education students in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample will be pulled from different districts areas of Oman and from both male and female students. Whereas the study population shall consist of all male and female students enrolled at schools in the academic year 2013/2014, the study sample is hoped to be (5000) male and female students and would be selected randomly. To fulfill the study questions, an instrument covering three domains (cognitive, behavioral and affective) will be prepared by the researchers to determine the students environmental awareness. It will be verified and reliabilities in an appropriate way. The study will come out with a number of recommendations and proposals related to environmental awareness.
