Difficulties Faced by the Sports Clubs in the Sultanate of Oman

The main purpose of this study is to identify the difficulties faced by the sports clubs in the sultanate of Oman and to suggest recommendations in order to develop the future work in these clubs. The current research is undertaken in two parts. First, an empiricalinvestigation across Oman will be conducted through which the realities and problems from those currently working in a sports capacity will be identified. Second,in order to learn from current sport situation in Oman, official documents will be analyzed. Two data gathering instruments are selected as methods of data collection:questionnaire ( n = 300) and documents analysis. Knowledge and understanding gained in these studies will be used to underpin recommendations to develop Omani Sports Clubs.
