Description

Algorithmic security, privacy and trust (SPT) concerns, whether related to storage, processing or network, of cryptocurrencies have been well addressed and documented in the literature. Related solutions have also been proposed and evaluated appropriately. However, there is a lack of studies that comprehensively and systematically addresses the end-users? perspective of SPT in cryptocurrencies, their types, and the end-user applications that support them. Negligence of related key drivers and factors may significantly affect the acceptance, adoption and usage of this futuristic and promising financial instrument. This project aims to recognize, analyze, and classify a multitude of themes and concerns in cryptocurrencies, and their significance, in the context of SPT that are crucial to secure end-users? investments. The attempt will contribute to significant insights, identification and analysis of designs, aspects, and concerns associated with the SPT context of cryptocurrencies. Moreover, it will comprehensively list the implications for the end-users as well as related entities, like financial firms and regulatory bodies, to effectively understand, correlate, evaluate the SPT context of cryptocurrencies. The study will further assist the end-users to confidently engage with cryptocurrencies and will guide the involved entities to appropriate facilitate the end-users to effectively add value to the corresponding crypto-base services and applications.
