This study investigates through a socio-communicative approach the nature of children's relationship with media and communication technologies in the Sultanate of Oman. The study aims to identify and understand the patterns of use of this important age group for these means, in addition to understanding their process of receiving media materials, and their forms of interaction with the content presented to them. The study will analyze also, the views of parents and educators regarding the nature of the children's relationship with media and communication technologies as well as identifying the challenges of using such technologies. The study depends on the survey method, and uses a questionnaire on a sample that represents children in all the governorates of the Sultanate, and an in-depth interview for a sample of parents and educators.
