Project Details

Description

This research aims to investigate the possibility of using instant-messaging apps (such as What?s Up app) as a medium for transferring the information between the database management system which are used to run businesses over the desktop and mobile application. The research will draw a framework (ultimately described as a protocol) which will define the requirements, the working environment (e.g., data storage, retrieval, and synchronization), the routing mechanism, and security issues (e.g., data encryption) related to the overall process. The new framework will be evaluated experimentally throughout designing an application prototype which uses the What?s Up application as data-transfer medium.
