Project Details
Description
Our project aims compare the discrimination abilities of two plastic scintillators, EJ-204 and EJ-207 in discriminating thermal, fast neutrons and gamma photons. Each detector will be examined in terms of it is response to these incident particles and photons. The comparison will be conducted using three different methods: Charge Comparison method (CCM), Pulse height analysis method (PHA) and Pulse gradient analysis (PGA). The results will be used in the development of a dual neutron and gamma imaging system.
