ملخص
Purpose: To compare straight and change of direction repeated sprint performances and to study their relationship with vertical and horizontal jumps. Method: Twelve physical education students (age: 21,08 ± 1,3 years, weight: 73,2 ± 5,7 kg, height: 1,80 ± 0,05 m, IMC: 22,4 ± 1,8 k/gm2) participated in this study. They performed two repeated sprint tests in a random order separated by one week: 6 × 30 m straight sprint and 6 × (15 + 15 m) with one change of direction. Performances were expressed as peak time (Tpic), total time (TT) and fatigue index (IF). Subjects have also performed vertical jumps: squat jump (SJ), counter movement jump (CMJ), drop jump (DJ) and horizontal jump: five jump test (FJT). Results: TT and Tpic were significantly different between the two tests. However, IF were not significantly different between the two tests. No correlation was found between parameters recorded in the two tests excepted for TT (r2 = 0.45). (CMJ-SJ) was significantly correlated with IF in the SRCD test (r = -0.709; p < 0.05). FJT was also correlated with TT enregistered in repeated sprints tests without and with change of direction (r = -0.610 et r = -0.736; p < 0.05, respectively).
