ملخص
The Long-Range Dependent (LRD) nature of network traffic has a considerable impact on queueing performance, and has received significant attention in the telecommunication research community. As the convergence of simulations to a steady state under LRD workloads is often very slow, analytical models become cost-effective and versatile tools that can help designers to investigate system performance. In this paper, we derive an original analytical performance model for adaptive wormhole routing in hypercube interconnection networks in the presence of LRD traffic. The proposed model is validated by comparing analytical results to those obtained through simulation experiments.
