دور مواقع الويب للأرشيفات العربية في التعليم وترسيخ قيم الهوية: دراسة تحليلية

Archives are keen to diversify their activities and services provided to their users to introduce themselves as information institutions, and to market their services effectively. This study focuses on an important aspect of modern archival activities: the use of archival documents in education through the analysis of the educational activities provided by the Arab Archives on their websites, to explore the nature and features of educational content related to the use of archival documents in education. In addition to the Arab Archives, the study included exemples of foreign Archives (United States, United Kingdom, France) to help and guide us in the evaluation of educational content on Arab Archives’ websites. This study is based on the content analysis method and has been applied on (13) Arab National Archives which have got online websites. The survey found that some of the Arab Archives do not have got websites; a number of the Archives included in this study share the website with other institutions. Moreover, basic educational services such as organizing workshops for teachers and implementing educational projects are still limited in the Arab Archives.
