اتجاهات البحث السوسيولوجي في سلطنة عُمان: حالة رسائل الماجستير

تشتغل هذه الدراسة على الرصيد البحثي المشكَّل من رسائل الماجستير، التي جرى مناقشتها في تخصص علم الاجتماع في قسم علم الاجتماع والعمل الاجتماعي بجامعة السلطان قابوس بسلطنة عُمان في الفترة الممتدة بين 1993-2022؛ لغرض التعرف على اتجاهات البحث السوسيولوجي في السلطنة من زاوية المقاربات المنهجية، والاتجاهات النظرية الأكثر استخدامًا وتوظيفًا في مقاربة ودراسة الموضوعات البحثية ذات الصلة. هذا بالإضافة إلى أنها تقف على واقع البحث السوسيولوجي خلال هذه الفترة، محاولة تبيُّن اتجاهاته المستقبلية الممكنة في ضوء بعض المؤشرات التي جرى التوصل إليها من خلال تحليل وتفسير البيانات المجمَّعة من عمل مسحي شمل 76 رسالة ماجستير قدمت في القسم خلال الفترة المشار إليها آنفًا.
The study at hand works on a stock of master's theses that were conducted in the field of sociology at the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Sultan Qaboos University, during the period from 1993 to 2022. It aims at identifying the sociological research trends in the Sultanate of Oman by looking at the methodological approaches and theoretical frameworks that were most used in studying the relevant research topics. In addition, it identifies the nature, type and possible future trends of the sociological research during the aforementioned period in light of certain indicators, which were reached through the analysis and interpretation of data collected via a survey including 76 master's theses completed at the Department of Sociology and Social Work.
