ملخص
This study aimed to investigate this issue in the master program of Islamic Education Curriculum and methods of teaching at the College of Education, SQU. The population of the study included (62) master theses
which were conducted from 1995 till 2008. The data content by tool which he has confirmed its validity and reliability. The Bibliometric Approach was adopted. The findings where as follows :
1. The number of theses was (62); (22) were carried out by female researchers.
2. Most studies were applied in Muscat region.
3. The descriptive approach was the most frequently adopted approach and the samples used were relevant.
4. Questionnaires and tests were the most frequently used tools.
5. All the studies ware done by Omani researchers with the exception of just one.
6. All the theses ware written in Arabic and under co-supervision.
