UNESCO Chair on Educational Psychology

The UNESCO Chair aims to support research, disseminate good practices, raise awareness and transfer knowledge on psychology. In addition, the chair shall conduct various seminars and workshop about psychology and the role it plays in school settings and in teacher preparation. A network of Omani psychologists and university departments will be established within the Chair to enhance research efforts in areas of Learning, motivation, and psychological testing, encourage flexibility among psychologists and learners, improve human resources activities and disseminate information among professionals such as teachers, school leaders, and researchers.
