Omani schools of thought and their impact on Omani society (Al-Rustaq and Nazwa Schools)

This research project aims to extrapolate the components of the Omani schools of though ., namely Al-Rustaq and Nizwa Schools. It describes its origins and the most important stages of its intellectual and historical development. In addition, it analyzes the most influential components of its intellectual and scientific contributions, following the areas of privacy and uniqueness in a comparative analytical approach .Then, the research investigates the direct social, cultural, and political effects of these schools of thoughts through analyzing the extent of their contribution in shaping the features of the intellectual and cultural personality in Oman and the extent to sculpting the characteristics of cultural identity in Oman on the one hand, and the extent to which it achieves the continuity of the historical identity of Oman on the other hand.
