Lp Bounds For Certain Maximal Functions

In this project, we will investigate the Lp mapping properties of a class of maximal functions. The aim is to prove Lp bounds of the targeted maximal functions when their kernels are rough and supported by subvarieties determined by mappings that are more general than polynomials and convex functions.
