Investigating the Implementation of Constructability in Oman?s Construction Industry

The successfulness of construction project is founded on three pillars: within the assigned budget, on time, and delivered based on the demanded quality. Almost all of construction projects suffer from delays and cost overruns caused by different reasons such as design changes. However, the exposure to different projects and experiencing different construction-related problems builds a respectful knowledge that can be used to enhance the efficiency on delivering projects successfully and the implementing constructability program in organizational and project levels plays a critical role to reach this result. Therefore, this research is motivated to investigate the nature of implementing constructability program in construction industry in Oman and to establish a research platform related to construction-related studies.
