تفاصيل المشروع

Description

In the process of storage and transportation of fruits and vegetables, shock absorption and cushioning is required to protect. Designing a vented package that could maximize the cooling and ventilation uniformity and minimize the quality deterioration of the packed produce without affecting the mechanical integrity of the package is a big challenge. 3D-printing technology has the ability to precisely design and construct fine structures of materials, which can be used to fabricate the shell?core structure in one-step. Experimental and finite element simulation studies is required for the performance based package design out from recycle plastics. Finite element analysis and simulation offers a useful tool for the study and mechanical design of ventilated packaging, taking into account factors such as the shape, location and size of the vents. Quality changes of packaged fresh produce during handling and transportation environment is also critical aspects for suitable package selection. The present study will focus on role of 3D printed innovative package used during storage and simulated handling on fresh produce postharvest losses.
