The research project aims to investigate the perceptions of in-service art and physical education teachers towards knowledge integration between the plastic arts curricula and school sports curricula, and the challenges that impede its achievement in the Sultanate of Oman. The study population will consist of all the formal plastic arts and physical education teachers working in the Ministry of Education. To achieve the objectives of the current study, two scales will be prepared, the first to recode teachers' perceptions of knowledge integration approach between the two curricula, and another scale to identity the challenges related to its implementation in the field experiences. This study will investigate the impact of variables such as: gender (male/female), specialization (plastic arts/school sports), qualification, years of experience, and educational region. The descriptive analytical research methodology will be used in order to recode these perceptions and challenges in order to achieve the objectives of the proposed project. The proposals and recommendations will be according to the results that will be obtained from the reality of the field application in the various schools in the Sultanate.
