Description

Over the last decades, there has been a growing interest in the area of two-dimensional systems theory. This is motivated by the wide variety of applications e.g. 2-D circuits, signal processing and control systems where the so called repetitive processes play a significant role. A 2D linear system is a system in which information propagates in two independent directions. Linear repetitive processes are characterized by a series of sweeps or passes with the requirement that a specified output trajectory over a finite interval is followed to a high precision. In the previous project we have shown exact similarities between Linear repetitive processes turn to the so called singular Roesser state-space models. This was accomplished by the use of Galkowski?s Elementary Operations Algorithm (EOA) and polynomial system description methods. This project will be a continuation of the former to widen possible area of possible applications of the obtained results and the new extended classes of the systems will be considered.
