تفاصيل المشروع
Description
In this work, the ionic liquids analogues known as deep eutectic solvents will be investigated experimentally as liquid fuel deep desulfurization solvents for use in continuous liquid-liquid microchannels-based extraction contactors. The aim is to enhance the sulfur removal and reduce the cost of using these fluids for practical applications. Different channel characteristics will be studied including: channel length, diameter and geometry. In addition, the sulfuric compounds separation efficiency will be optimized by studying other process variables including: the type of DES, the DES/Fuel ratio, mixture velocity, flow patterns and residence time.
