Big Data Governance Framework

Big Data has become one of the buzzwords today. The recent explosion of digital data has led organizations, both private and public, to a new era towards a more efficient decision making. Big data, when used wisely, can deliver tremendous value to organizations.In this proposal, we discuss the rise of the concept of Big Data and Big Data Analytics, the sectors or domains where Big Data Analytics can be used, the benefits and threats of such new concept, and then we discuss the policies related to that concept. This research will explore Big Data Governance Policies and Guidelines in order to better manage and control this deluge of Big Data. Then it will focus on data quality management and governance which is both more important and more challenging than ever. The research expected to produce a set of recommendations which likely to benefit both private and public sector?s organizations opting to adopt Big Data.
