Best Proximity Points of Generalized Cyclic weak contractions

Fixed Point Theorems are well known for their applications in various branches of pure and applied mathematics. In the present project, we wish to introduce the notion of a new type of cyclic mapping. We intend to study the existence of proximity points for this new class of cyclic mapping under a number of contraction conditions defined on different types of topological spaces. We also look for some possible applications of our findings. Our results will certainly improve and extend previously known results for cyclic mappings
