Personal profile
I am a petroleum engineer with extensive experience in academia and the oil and gas industry. My academic journey took me from Iran to France and the UK, where I earned my BSc, MSc, and PhD. My industry career began in 2007 with significant projects for BP, Shell, Statoil, ConocoPhillips, and Total. I specialized in dynamic reservoir modeling and later transitioned into consultancy work, focusing on reservoir management, enhanced oil recovery, and more. My journey in petroleum engineering has been marked by a strong academic foundation and extensive industry involvement, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field and a diverse skill set that encompasses research, software development, and project management. I've also taught courses in reservoir engineering, simulation, CCUS, Fluid flow in porouse media, enhanced oil recovery and related topics at universities and published over 50 papers and presented at SPE and EAGE conferences, further enriching my expertise in petroleum engineering.
