Abstract

Tokai University has introduced a special ITU e-Health Expert Training Course for the development of Telemedicine and e-Health and also for telecommunication etc. First e-Health Training Course was held in 2000 and some of foreigner participants from Indonesia, Bhutan, China and Pakistan etc. participated into this Training Course. In 1994, only a few countries had any experience on Telemedicine but now there are over 100 developing countries having conducted some kinds of telemedicine projects. Due to recent improvement in hardware and the removal of regulatory barriers, Telemedicine is facing with major difficulties in developing countries so this kind of Training program should be very helpful for the developing nations.
