Abstract

The development of space technology opens the doors for gathering information related to the Earth's atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and human-induced changes, which was not possible in the past. Remote Sensing, Geoscience, Geographical Information System, and the Internet have made the collection, storage and dissemination of information easier than ever.
