Personal profile
Research interests
My research focuses on developing innovative nutritional strategies to enhance animal productivity by utilizing locally available feed ingredients and additives. I aim to address challenges such as rising feed costs and resource scarcity in Oman through both traditional and advanced methodologies. A key aspect of my work involves studying the relationship between diet quality and ruminal fermentation, with a focus on using phytogenic additives to improve growth, nutrient digestibility, milk production, and feed efficiency. Additionally, my research aims to develop sustainable solutions that reduce rumen methane emissions and enhance herd productivity, thereby meeting future global demands.
