Dr. Elaswad is currently a Researcher at the Center of Excellence in Marine Biotechnology, with a solid background in genetics, genome engineering, biotechnology, and aquaculture. He is skilled in various techniques of molecular biology, gene editing, gene transfer, and bioinformatics. He has more than fifteen years of experience teaching genetics and biotechnology courses, mentoring students, and developing syllabi and evaluation methods. He was honored by receiving 10 awards from Auburn University and Suez Canal University for excellence in scientific research and university service. Proven international publication skills with more than 35 Scopus records in international journals, one book chapter,13 h-index, and more than 1200 citations in the Scopus database (as of August, 2024). Reviewer board member of several international journals. A good team player with a strong quality mindset, a ‘can-do’ and ‘adaptive learning’ attitude, and a non-ending eagerness to learn new technologies.
